This term, students have begun preparations for this years faction athletics carnival will be held at Grenville Reserve on Friday 11th of September 2020.

Like many things this year, we have has to make some changes to how the carnival has run in the past.  We had hoped that the Phase 5 Guidelines would have now been put into place however, this is not the case and we are having to reassess how this will work to make it an event that is accessible and safe  to everyone who wishes to attend. We still are required to comply with distancing and hygiene requirements, including the cleaning of all equipment.

To assist families in being able to access this event and to better control the amount of spectators and students at Grenville at one time while still giving all parents and family members a chance to attend the event we have decided to split the event into two distinct sections to not only reduce numbers but to also provide for full participation when children are at the carnival.

Exact times are still being finalised but Kindy to Year 2 students will be completing all their events in the morning session and students in Years 3 - 6 will be completing their events after lunch. 

More details will follow closer to the date including a timetable for the days events and information regarding spectator areas and maintaining the 2 square metre per person requirement.
