At the Kieran Connect meeting held on Tuesday evening, a decision was made regarding not holding the Father's Day breakfast this year. The main issue around this decision was the current restriction a number of adults allowed on the school site. It was felt that for the remainder of this year that any event that is held will focus on the children, specifically with an event planned for the beginning of Term Four all children from Kindergarten to Year Six.   

During this week and next, we will be conducting around four hundred parent-teacher meetings, the majority of these are either via phone or via a video call using Microsoft teams. We appreciate the willingness of parents to utilise these resources to touch base with their children's teachers to discuss their child's progress and hope we can continue to use these options into the future.   

Today the school officially moved to the new Administration of School system (AOS). Parents will soon receive advice regarding updated billing information, new logins for Seqta engage and children will receive a new code to use when they enter later or leave early. Administration staff have spent the last eight weeks preparing for this changeover and will now spend the next couple of weeks insuring that all, data has transferred is correct and verified. They have done an amazing job ensuring that all aspects of the transfer have occurred so smoothly, especially considering that they have also been completing normal daily duties also.

At the recent Board and Kieran Connect meetings, I raised a discussion regarding our current uniform. Below you will find a short survey that we would appreciate you complete to help us better understand particular aspects around our school uniform. This survey will remain open for the next two weeks.

We are also seeking parents who would be willing to review the current Uniform Policy. The last review was undertaken in 2016 and focussed on removing and introducing new items. This review will need to focus on the suitability of the expectations around the uniform policy and if the current ones are still acceptable or need changing or even removal as some aspects may no longer be relevant or perhaps even fair in our current climate.
