Farewell from Mrs Storey
Dear St Kieran Family.
As most people would already be aware, I will be retiring from St Kieran at the end of this term.
Preparing to leave has brought home just how much St Kieran has meant to me, and how greatly I value the over twenty years I have spent working here as a school social work.
It has been a privilege to get to know many students and their families during my time here and to witness so much courage, resilience and dedication in their St Kieran journey. I have very been fortunate to share in some of those steps along the way.
I have also so much appreciated working with St Kieran wonderful, compassionate and professional staff and a great big thank-you to you all. The pastoral care and commitment continually shown to all the students and their families is inspiring and continues to be so much in evidence in these present challenging times.
I would like to welcome Gill Ford as the social worker who will be commencing at St Kieran next term. I know Gill will be a wonderful part of the St Kieran community. As much as I have been looking forward to this new chapter in my life, I know I will greatly miss St Kieran.
It is a strange and stressful world at present but this time will pass. I wish peace and safety to you all.
Penny Storey
