The first meeting will be held in the Upper Learning Area at 2pm on Thursday 26th September.

The St Kieran Community spirit is alive and well as witnessed at our latest community event, the Father's Day Breakfast. There are so many enthusiastic and willing volunteers who would like play an active part in engaging others to help promote a sense of belonging in our school community. 

We believe the direction of St Kieran Connect will be to harness that spirit and to welcome and encourage all to become active members in our school community in whatever way they feel comfortable. We would like to take the opportunity to outline to our school community the direction that we believe will allow for greatest engagement and connectivity between our parents/guardians and our school to achieve the best outcomes for all of our children.

We believe that  by providing networking and learning opportunities for all parents and caregivers, we can leverage the outstanding aspects of our extended school community, as we know that research says, 

Family-school and community partnerships are re-defining the boundaries and functions of education. They enlarge parental and community capacity; they create conditions in which children learn more effectively. In these ways, they take education beyond the school gates (Family-School and Community Partnerships Bureau, 2009, p. 6).

Please come to support the new direction of parent engagement in our school under the direction of Catholic School Parents WA in whatever way big or small, to help nurture our children to develop and grow in a loving and supportive environment.
